Policies & Terms
At Salaé Signings, we pride ourselves on delivering professional and reliable mobile notary services. Please review our policies below to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for both parties.
1. Appointment Policy
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Same-day and rush appointments are available based on availability and may include an additional fee.
2. Identification Requirements
All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at the time of notarization. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID. Expired IDs are not accepted.
3. Travel & Mobile Fees
Our base travel fee is included in your quote. Additional charges may apply for extended travel outside of our standard service area or for late-night/after-hours services.
4. Late or No-Show Policy
If the client is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the appointment may be canceled and a rescheduling fee may apply. No-shows or failure to provide correct documents may result in forfeiture of the service fee.
5. Rescheduling & Cancellations
Clients must provide at least 2 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Appointments canceled without proper notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or may not be eligible for a refund.
6. Refund Policy
Service fees are non-refundable once the notary arrives at the appointment location. If you cancel before the travel begins, a partial refund may be issued at the business’s discretion.
7. Right to Refuse Service
Salaé Signings reserves the right to refuse service if:
• Proper ID is not provided
• The signer appears to be under duress or intoxicated
• The signer is unwilling or unable to complete the document knowingly and voluntarily
• The documents appear fraudulent or incomplete
8. Jail Notary Appointments
All correctional facility appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Approval from the facility and coordination with jail staff is required. Full payment must be made before the appointment is confirmed.
9. After-Hours Service
Appointments scheduled after 7 PM or on weekends/holidays are considered after-hours and may include additional charges. Please confirm availability before booking.
10. Privacy & Confidentiality
All client information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality. We never share or disclose your personal information without consent unless required by law.
